Problems with withdrawals and deposits: what to do?

Have you tried to make a deposit at a bookmaker, but for some reason the transaction was blocked? Are you having trouble withdrawing your funds?
Believe me, these issues are more common (and simple to resolve) than they seem. Often, bookmakers list payment method rules on pages that are difficult to access or in language that confuses bettors. Some only have their terms in English!
We have prepared a guide to help the betting community who are experiencing problems with financial transactions. In this content, we have gathered the main reasons for errors along with possible ways to resolve them.
1. Check the minimum amounts by payment method and transaction
Both withdrawals and deposits have minimum amounts to be processed. Thinking about PIX, for example, the deposit amount can be R$1, but to withdraw, the institution can stipulate a minimum of R$10.
Most bookmakers set the minimum deposit amount lower than the withdrawal amount, as a way to make the registration experience more attractive. Be careful not to create a conflict of expectations.
Here’s an example: we had less than R$30 on Winz.io and we couldn’t make the withdrawal in any way, because we didn’t reach the minimum amount.
2. Check if the deposit method is the same as the withdrawal method
Another common problem: did you deposit via PIX and want to withdraw via credit card?
It is quite possible that the house does not allow it. This is a popular rule, stipulated in the terms and conditions that many people end up overlooking when registering.
Deposits and withdrawals must be made using the same payment method.
3. Check if the bonus amount may be blocked
Until you meet all the bonus terms and conditions, the amount may appear in your account but will not be processed . This can lead to confusion as to whether you have the money in your account but actually have it pending.
Check if there are any active bonuses and if you find that you will not be able to meet the terms and conditions in time, request cancellation or wait until it expires.
4. Wait for processing times
It may seem like an obvious tip, but check if the processing time has passed or if the bank is still backed by the hours or days shown on the payment page.
Even PIX, which is an instant payment method , can take a few minutes to be validated. See the example below, from Betano: the bank asks for up to 1 hour to process the withdrawal request!
Remember to check the time stipulated for deposit and withdrawal, which is different in 99% of cases. Deposits are usually faster.
5. Check if the account belongs to the registered CPF
In short, you can only request a withdrawal using your own payment method. Don’t ask for a withdrawal to be made to a friend or family member’s account! This is one of the most common security measures used by bookmakers.
See the image above, from Betano, for example. The company makes it clear that you can only use a bank account linked to your CPF.
6. Confirm your identity
At some point, you will have to confirm your identity with the bookmaker where you registered. At least in most of them (the reliable ones always ask for it).
If you tried to deposit or withdraw and were unable to do so, make sure you sent the necessary documents to confirm the account and understand whether the block may be related to inconsistency (or lack) of any information.
These measures may seem tedious or complex to implement at first, but they ensure your safety. They also promote a fairer betting environment, with due regard for criminal behavior, hacking, or behavior that encourages money laundering.
The problem persists? Find out what to do
Have you reached the end of this guide and realized that you have complied with everything we mentioned here? It is still possible that your deposit or withdrawal has been blocked for specific reasons between your profile and the bookmaker’s guidelines.
We recommend that you contact us through our support channels and report what happened in detail.
We have content with the main support channels of betting houses . We suggest that you contact us with detailed information, such as your registration data, report of the incident and images/videos, if you have any.
All of this can speed up the process, as experts will have more information to cross-reference the data and understand where the error came from.
We also recommend that you read the terms and conditions before creating an account and making deposits. It’s your money that’s being invested, so take care of it!
